Our RAC setup running on Sun Solaris SPARC (64-bit) server, with 32G RAM on each instance. Current setting for processes parameter is 5000, but we are unable to increase it.

We're using a J2EE based application on Radius. Thousands of client requests striking in seconds. As per our RDA analysis, it shows dead processes may be one of the reasons it goes beyond the maximum processes.

Now my question is,
1. What are possible values of SGA & PGA allocation based on this OLTP architecture?
2. Are kernel parameters well set?
4. How to remove dead processes from memory?
