We have had some problems while performing direct loads to table with indexes. At the end of the process loading the table; SQL*LDR rebuilds the indexes and constraints. We sometime get ORA-01658 errors, while creating the index/constraint, and the job step returns a zero return code and puts the offending index/constraint in direct load state. The state of the index/constraint is not found until later jobs are run and they fail due to direct load state problem. Is there a way to capture these ORACLE errors and force a non-zero return code?

Thanks

Loren
