That would depend on whether your database is policy managed or administrator managed. And on your requirements for high availability, fault tolerance, load balancing.

Right John,

Can we manage our requirement if we have administrator managed database.? Or only way is to create a policy managed services.

Possibly. I don't know what your requirements are.

It is same to use 2 node for OLTP and 3 for DSS system from % node RAC database. System we not yet built, we are in planning phase to built the system.

How many databases? How many nodes in the cluster? What should happen if nodes fail? Are instances permitted to share nodes?

I apologize, it seems i have wrongly put the question.

1 Database
5 nodes(servers), each node will have 1 instance. Total 5 instance.

We have to plan to give 2 instance for OLTP, so in case anyone fails, it will be managed by another one. Same for next 3 instances which will be used by DSS and will be permitted to share the instance in-between.

for some, many, most folks the OLTP is a separate database from the Data Warehouse database.

So that is simple enough: administrator managed, and set up two services with preferred and available instances accordingly.
You might want to consider why you are using RAC, though. Is it for performance? Scalability? Fault tolerance? Don't just say "all three", that will indicate that you haven't thought it through. Many RAC isntallations fail, because the expectations were not set correctly. You need to be absolutely clear on why you are using it, and how your chosen topology will meet that objective.
