I installed oracle-xe 10g on windows xp and looked after the installation for the storage.
It says space allocated 880 MB , available storage 4240 MB , physical limit 5120 MB , and 17 % is occupied.
Now it says in Oracle_xe there are 4 GB for your own use, the 880 MB are the 17 % of the physical limit.

How can I determine the amount of my user-data ? After the installation this should be 0 MB and 0 % .

After I installed some of my data/tables, how can I determine how much storage they really use ?
If I do not remember the 880 MB which result already from the installation, the displayed numbers
do not display only the user-data.

By the way, if I upload data (excel sheet, text-file ) with apex, do these data from the apex repository
count as user-data ?

It would be helpful if you followed Posting Guidelines - http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/88153/0/

use COPY & PASTE so we can see what you do & how Oracle responds.
