Hi,
I have a oracle RAC database on 24*7 environment.I want to create a standby server, which can synchronise with my RAC database, and i can use that at time of failure.

Oracle software and Database is installed on a storage. How do I connect my standby server with that database.

Please give me the manuals to do this.

Before planning for standby, you may have to decide physical / logical standby. If at all physical standbby you may need similar hardware and all filesystems & storage need identical to present setup. However in Logical standby need not.

Google it based on your decision.

Good Luck
