Hi,

We have five Oracle Streams:

Streams Name CAPTURE PROCESS APPLY PROCESS
 1. AE at AA Database at AB Database
 2. AG at AA Database at AB Database
 3. AF at AA Database at AB Database
 4. AT at AA Database at AB Database
 5. AK at AA Database at AB Database

All the above five Streams are active.

How to decomission the AT & AK streams only i.e. (i.e. removal of streams from AA Database (CAPTURE PROCESS) and the AB Database (APPLY PROCESS)).

Please suggest.

Hi

I am also facing similar problem. I wanted to decommission the Streams. I deleted Capture Process using OEM. Then I deleted the Propagation without success. Then I deleted the apply process from the destination DB.
Since Propagation hanged, now it does not allow me clear it. I tried to drop the Streams Admin Schema, but it hangs.

Please guide me what to do now, and what is the process to decommission the Streams.

In 9i, it is not possible. You suppress all or none of Streams configuration.
I recommend to NOT use Streams in 9i, it is not reliable (at least upgrade to 9.2.0.8 ).

The title says: "Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.3.0 - 64bit".

Use DBMS_STREAMS_ADM.REMOVE_STREAMS_CONFIGURATION to remove Streams.
But as you are now in the middle of the process I don't know how it will behave.

Michel
