You may want to rephrase your question.
There is nothing called as "Log Parallelism" in Oracle.
May be you are talking about parallel operations in backup/recovery with archivedlogs.
May be it is something else.

Parameter Description
--------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------
_log_parallelism Number of log buffer strands
_log_parallelism_dynamic Enable dynamic strands
_log_parallelism_max Maximum number of log buffer strands

All are hidden parameters and should only be modified with the backing of Oracle support.

Michel

Thanks for the replays

If the _log_parallelism_max is set to one, what can we infer,
what is the default value of _log_parallelism_max

It depends on your version (with 4 decimals), OS, options...
But it is easy to know it: just don't set it.
