Our current configuration is that everything currently runs on one server tru64, we are migrating off tru64 and split the app & concurrent manager on 1 server and the database on another server in prep for adding additional components of ebusiness. We would like to put the database on AIX with data-guard and the app and CM on Solaris server. After discussions with many people I was told that this configuration is ok as long as the app and cm are together on the same server otherwise you will encounter binary issues. However, I am not able to find any documentation for setting up this type configuration. Any suggestions or ideas?
